Canon 8010 Waste Ink Reset
1. Turn on the printer and open the tray where the ink cartridges are installed.
2. Push and hold the ink counter reset button for about 5 seconds until all four LED lights flash.
3. Release the button and close the tray.
4. Push and hold the resume button for about 5 seconds.
5. Release the button and the printer is now reset to a default factory setting. The printer will now work as if it has been activated for the very first time.
6. To complete the reset process, you will need to re-install the ink cartridges. Make sure to follow the instructions that came with the cartridges.
7. Now turn off the printer and turn it back on and your Canon 8010 printer is now reset and ready to use. Congratulations!
