To reset the printer to its factory settings, the following steps must be taken:
1. Locate and unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
2. Wait at least fifteen seconds before plugging the cord back in.
3. Press and hold the power button for two seconds.
4. When the printer begins to beep, press and hold the “Menu” and “Cancel” buttons simultaneously for two seconds.
5. Release the two buttons, the printer will now display the “System Configuration” option.
6. Use the arrow buttons to scroll down the menu until the “Factory Reset” option is selected.
7. Press the “Enter” button. The printer will now reset itself to its factory settings.
8. After resetting the printer, press the “Power” button to turn the printer off.
9. Wait a few moments before pressing the “Power” button to turn the printer back on.
