Brother printer can reset the fuser by the following steps:
1. Turn off the power switch and unplug the printer's power cord.
2. Open the front cover of the printer.
3. Locate and remove the fuser unit from the printer.
4. Carefully pull out the toner cartridge from the fuser unit.
5. Using cotton swabs and alcohol, clean the fuser unit.
6. Insert the toner cartridge back into the fuser unit and re-install the unit back into the printer.
7. Plug the power cord back into the printer and turn on the power switch.
8. On the printer control panel, press the "Reset"button.
9. After the reset is finished, turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
10. Plug the power cord back into the printer and turn on the power switch. The printer should now be reset and ready to use.
